SF Edits Relaunched

I’ve relaunched SF Edits, the bot that watches for edits to Wikipedia articles on politically important topics in San Francisco. Originally, I’d launched it on Twitter, but now it’s on Bluesky and Mastodon.

Here’s how it works:

The code was originally forked from @congressedits. That account was shut down by Twitter in 2018. I’ve always been interested in creating something similar for SF politics, but as far as I know, no local government agencies here have dedicated IP ranges. So instead of posting anonymous edits, my code posts all edits, but watches specific articles.
